ESHRA is a higher education institution created in 2014 by the Hotel Investment Company “SIH” and approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The ESHRA infrastructure, located on a 15ha site by the sea, it includes three distinct zones, an academic and operations zone, a housing zone and a leisure and sports zone. They gives students the opportunity to be confronted with different ways of seeing and practicing the hotel business through four catering outlets with different concepts, some of which will be open to the public, as well as with different accommodation standards, ranging from 3 to 5 stars.
The shortage of qualified manpower and hospitality management skills in the hotel and restaurant sectors was a decisive factor in the establishment of the school. ESHRA is an institution whose objective is to participate in tourism and economic development in Algeria and North Africa. This by training new managers, leaders and managers for a career in the hotel industry, catering and all other trades in the tourism industry.
The school offers several higher education courses, including a bachelor’s degree in management sciences (Bac +3) with a specialization in hotel and catering management (Hospitality management). The pedagogical orientations and the teaching program of the bachelor’s degree course have been developed and implemented within the ESHRA under the advice and academic assistance of the Lausanne hotel school “EHL”, regularly ranked as the best hotel management school in the world.
